Bruno Menchio is a Senior Petrophysicist Specialist with extensive experience supporting geological operations and delivering formation evaluation solutions for both exploration and field development projects.
He has a broad technical background across the full spectrum of formation evaluation, combining strong analytical skills with an innovative approach to implementing new methodologies, workflows, and technologies. Bruno is recognised for integrating complex, multidisciplinary datasets into clear, practical interpretations that support confident decision-making.
His experience spans carbonate, siliciclastic, and unconventional reservoirs, including tight sandstone and shale formations. He played a key role in acidification projects for tight sandstone reservoirs and was responsible for introducing the OMRI resistive imaging tool to the Brazilian market.
Bruno is highly proficient in Interactive Petrophysics (IP) and DecisionSpace Petrophysics software and remains actively engaged in the professional community. He serves as Regional Director for Latin America and is a member of the Technical Committee of the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA).
